Alex Vickery is a sophomore journalism major. Originally from Houston, Texas, Alex loves exploring Austin, going on adventures with friends and attending as many concerts as possible. This is her fourth semester working for Longhorn Life.

She often daydreams about the summertime and the fabulous beaches of  Rio de Janeiro, the place she called home during high school. In the future she hopes to write for a magazine in New York City and travel to as many places as possible.
