Shantanu Banerjee is a freshman studying economics. He loves everything about his major, now matter how dry and boring it may be (although he promises he doesn't write like that). Having grown up in Austin, Shantanu believes nothing beats a day spent with friends doing all things Austin-esque: SoCo, Zilker Park, you name it. He also looks forward to SXSW every year - it's his favorite part about the city after having been here 14 years.

This is Shantanu's third semester with Longhorn Life.
